A REAL DREAM TEAM

The following is from the book "The Dream Team" by Jack McCallum.  It is about the final subject from Coach Chuck Daly at his first team meeting and one of the reasons it truly was a Dream Team:

Finally, Daly approached the most delicate subject, one even more frightening than terrorism since it was well within the realm of possibility.

"Look, there are twelve of you, and you're all All-Starts and future Hall of Famers," Daily said, "and there is no way I can get all of you the minutes you're used to having on --"

"That isn't going to be a problem," Jordan said.

"We're here to win, and nobody is going to care about playing time Chuck," said Magic.

Interesting to hear Coach K address team before first USA practice. You can already hear what he is stressing by the stories he tells. He wants people to accept roles and be ready to defend.
