
1. Surround yourself with unbelievably talented people who complement you. Their strengths should support your weaknesses.
2. Don’t impose too much of your will on them. Delegate to your staff and let them do what they do well. Don’t undermine them.
3. Be absolutely sure of your convictions and be passionate in how you approach them. Your players will feed off that.
4. Everything you do every day is for your players, not for you. Your only concern is to make them better. When player sknow that, they will play hard for you.
5. Be who you are and not someone else.
