EXCUSES FOR NOT PURSUING YOUR DREAMS

The following comes from John Maxwell's incredible book "Put Your Dream to the Test: 10 Questions to Help You See It and Seize It."

Excuse #1: Dreams Don’t Come True for Ordinary People

1. Ordinary people can live extraordinary lives when they follow their dreams. Because a dream becomes a catalyst to help people make important changes in their lives.

Excuse #2: If the Dream Isn’t Big, It’s Not Worth Pursuing

1. A dream doesn’t have to be big. It just has to be bigger than you are.

Excuse #3: Now is Not the Right Time to Pursue my Dream

1. “The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible, and achieve it, generation after generation.” (Pearl S. Buck)

2. But I believe that novelist George Eliot was right when she said, “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.”
