OFFENSIVE POST PLAY THOUGHTS FROM MIKE ROLLER

Effective movement without the ball eliminates move needed to create shot.

1. Getting open
2. Sealing
3. Catch & Score

The better you move without the ball, the more necessary it is for the defense to play behind you.

A low post player needs a go-to move and a complimentary move.

Jabbar was talented enough to master any move, but he was smart enough just to have two.

1. Shoot it closer to the basket than where you catch it.
2. Use glass in all power moves.
3. With at least one foot in the paint, no dribble.
4. With feet out of the paint, one power dribble.
