I received a phone call this morning from Coach Don Meyer with some tough news regarding Coach Bruce Stewart. Coach Stewart is currently the coach at Northwest Florida State College. This past week they have discovered some tumors on Coach Stewart's brain. I've coached against Bruce both in the WVIAC where he got his start and then our West Virginia State played him again when he was at Middle Tennessee State. While he had some NCAA problems at MTSU he's a good coach that has been working hard at NWFS.It's a great time for our coaching community to come together and show our support. Our team will place Bruce on our prayer list and we will send him a card and an autographed basketball today. Coach Meyer thought it would be really encouraging and uplifting if all of us that coach would drop him a note as well and he was able to get Bruce's address:
